Welcome to Medan , the capital city of Notrh Sumatra Province , upon arrival at MES airport first clear immigration followed by the custom fomalities meeting by our guide, then proceed the drive to Berastagi, a highland resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery. The journey goes up the hill passing through some part of the lush tropical rain forest and mountain winding road , then reach the village of Peceran in Berastagi which consists a number of traditional houses that are still being used. Meet the people and observe the way they live in that house. Continue to visit the fruit market of Berastagi, taste fresh fruit taken from garden such as orange, passion fruit and many others. After breakfast at hotel, leaving for Parapat - a lake resort area located on the east shore of the famous Lake Toba. En route , stop at Tongging viewpoint, where you will see the breathtaking view of Lake Toba and the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall dropping  into the northern tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meter heights. Afterward proceed to  visit the ancient King's Palace or 'long house" of Simalungun at Pematang Purba. Proceed to Parapat through the fertile vegetable and fruit farms, pine tree forests and spectacular view of Lake Toba along most part of the journey. Arrival in Parapat, direct on board of the traditional boat leaving for Samosir - a huge island in the middle of Lake Toba, upon arrival check in hotel for overnight. After breakfast start excursion tour on Samosir Island cruising to Tomok village for visiting the old Tomb of King Sidabutar located amidst surrounding Batak Toba Village. Return to boat then cruising to Ambarita a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture , which they used as tribunal place among them. Souvenir stalls selling handycraft, wood carving etc line the way heading to the place, after reaching the village you will see a beautiful traditional village built in compound surrounded by walls. The amazing way of life of Batk people , their culture and thier system of strong patriatchart will be an unforgetable experience. Next visit goes by boat to the village of Simanindo for watching folkdance performance of Batak Toba people. Afternoon return to hotel for overnight. The rest is free at own leisure.

After breakfast morning transfer by boat to Parapat , then continue drive passing through beautiful scenery of mountain Bukit Barisan and the Toba Lake heading further to Sipirok , a small town located in southwest of Lake Toba around 150 km from Parapat. En route visiting Lumban Garaga Village located amidst green rice field , see women weaving the Ulos - traditional cloth- or working on field and observe the daily activity of the local people. Next stop will be made in the small town Balige with its richly ornamented market building. Experience the busy traditional market , observe how local people bargaining price while purchasing goods. Scenic drive continues passing through mountain winding road, small city of Tarutung and mountain forest of Sumatra's hinterland. Afternoon arrive at Sipirok , check in hotel for overnight. Breakfast at hotel. The journey today is rather long but worthwhile, it exhibits the inner part of Sumatera. The scenery of mountains, rivers, valleys and traditional villages will relieve you from your weariness. While passing Bonjol, the equator line should nonetheless be remarkable in your personal record.  Then proceed to the most charming town, the heart of Minangkabau Highland, and the center of matrilineal society of Sumatra, Bukittinggi. After breakfast start city tour of Bukit Tinggu , see the landmark of Bukittinggi - Jam Gadang (Clock Tower), the uniqueness of the local market and museum Bundo Kanduang which displays models of traditional Minakabau houses, valuable collections of antiquities as well as other information about Mingakabau culture. Continue to the Ngarai Sianok- a beautifull grand valley at which Japanese hohle was built during the 2nd world war to hide and depend againts anemies. After stop at Koto Gadang which is renown for its silver works and hand embroidery, leave for lake Maninjau through mountain winding road with beautiful view of rice terrace,valley and green vegetation along the route upon , then stop at Embun Pagi viewpoint for seeing the breathtaking scenery of Lake Maninjau. After short visit at Lawang top for watching the traditional sugar refinery powered by buffalo (rest on Sundays), continue drive through spectacular serpentine's road of well known 44 Kelok of curves down hills heading to the lake. Leave for Padang past the lake going through coast line of West Sumatra, upon arrival in Padang the capital city of West Sumatera province take city sightseeing by visiting china town and old harbor. Check into hotel for overnight.
