Arrive at Bukit Lawang situated on a fast-running river which you can cross by bridge from your cottage. The banks of the river are lined with little stilted huts, with women washing clothes and people bathing. Check in at simple guest house located on the edge of the jungle.

After early breakfast, walk along the river bank then cross the river by small canoe to the Orangutan Lihat gambar ukuran penuhRehabilitation Center. Hike up the hill through the rain forest until the feeding site of the Orang Utans. You will see these huge orange Sumatran orangutans swinging their way through the jungle towards the tasty bunch of bananas laid out for them, some of them carrying very cute looking babies on their backs. Afterward continue further 3-hour trek through the jungle , find the kinds of flora and fauna, hear the song of birds and Siamang “The Black Gibbon”. It’s a hilly area here, so expect the odd climb. Scrambling through the trees clinging on to branches and roots it’s a pretty thrilling hike though. Hiking boots or at least sturdy shoes are advisable for this trek. Overnight in tent or shelter.

Descending back through tropical rain forest and explore the fauna and flora on the way. After hard hike up and down hills , taking a rest at “Lau Debuk-Debuk” Hotsprings with swimming on wamr water pool. Afternoon continue drive heading to Medan , check in hotel for overnight.
